Come and let’s get hooked on fishing. The Bartlett Nature Center and The Fox River Valley Chapter Muskies, Inc. presents this FREE catch and release derby. This event is sponsored by The Bartlett Parks Foundation, Cabela’s, ReMax-Patti Hanson Bass Pro Shop-Gurnee Mills, and Coleman . With the help of our sponsors we are able to put on this free event. Children ages 2-15 accompanied by a parent/guardian, can bring their rod and gear. Registration begins at 8:15am, fishing starts at 9am and ends at 11am. Awards and raffle prizes will be presented at 11:30am. No pre-registration required, a pre-derby clinic will be held at 8am to assist new fishermen.

This event is held at Beaver Pond Park, on Stearns Road, 2 blocks east of Route 59 off Kingston. Registration begins at 8:15am, fishing starts at 9am and ends at 11am. Awards and raffle prizes will be presented at 11:30am. No pre-registration is required.
